Who we are
Tessera Tech is a software company in Nairobi, Kenya. This policy explains what information this website collects and how we use it. You can reach us at tolaapopo001@gmail.com or 0797 466 387.
What we collect on this website
- WhatsApp button clicks. When you tap a WhatsApp button we record which button it was, which product it was about, the page and the time, your browser's user-agent text, and a one-way coded version of your IP address. We cannot turn that code back into your IP address. We use these records only to see which products people are interested in.
- Contact form. When you send us a message through the contact form we keep your name, business name, phone number, email address (if you give one), the system you are interested in and your message, with the time, the page language, your browser's user-agent text and a one-way coded version of your IP address. Your phone number and email address are stored encrypted. A copy of your message is emailed to our team so we can reply.
- Cookies. The site sets two cookies that it needs to work securely: a session cookie and a security token that protects forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our server keeps technical logs (such as IP address, page requested and time) to keep the site secure and working.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, message us on WhatsApp, call or email, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, phone number and what your business needs. We use them only to reply, prepare a demo or quotation, and support you. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
Videos
Client videos from YouTube load only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once you play a video, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not ask for your M-Pesa PIN. The "Try it yourself" till on this site is a simulation: it does not ask for a phone number and no money moves.
- Fonts and images are served from our own website, not from third parties.
How long we keep it
WhatsApp click records are kept for [CONFIRM: retention period] and then deleted. Contact form messages are kept for [CONFIRM: retention period] and then deleted. Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to serve you.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email tolaapopo001@gmail.com and we will reply. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
